The General Arab Insurance Federation, in its weekly bulletin, reviewed new developments in the global marine insurance market amid rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. It noted that the Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has drafted a new contractual clause that could void insurance coverage for oil tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
