Saudi Arabia: Insurance Authority detects 2,000 violations and imposes SAR 25 million in fines for 2025

The Insurance Authority (IA) announced that it detected more than 2,000 violations during the year 2025. These infractions, committed by several companies operating within the sector, related to breaches of supervisory and regulatory instructions, cybersecurity standards, and consumer protection protocols. Additionally, the violations involved non-compliance with requirements for Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF).
