In a significant step to enhance the competitiveness of the Egyptian insurance market and pave the way for the transfer of international expertise, the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), chaired by Dr Mohammed Farid, issued the decree no 321 of year 2025. This decree establishes—for the first time—integrated regulatory guidelines for the licensing and registration of foreign insurance and reinsurance representative offices within the Arab Republic of Egypt.
