In Egypt, the Board of Directors of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), chaired by Dr Islam Azzam, issued a decision to extend the deadline granted for non-resident foreign reinsurance brokers to adjust their status regarding the registration requirements and standards until October 31, 2026.
