The General Manager of Arab Reinsurance Company (Arab Re), Mr. Hussein Mallouk, reaffirmed the historical success of Arab Re in serving the Lebanese insurance market despite all the challenges as it is keen on honoring all its liabilities as a general policy. This was reflected in its B+ financial strength rating, which however, does not reflect the high solvency of the company and its unprecedented capacity to overcome the market challenges and contribute to the development of Arab insurance markets.

Regarding technological developments such as blockchain, price competition, natural catastrophe in the world, Mr. Mallouk is well aware of their implications in the short and long terms. Therefore, along with his team, he anticipates future developments, develops training programs not to mention his efforts to improve the financial strength of the company, and develop its business within a solid underwriting discipline.
