The Insurers Federation of Egypt is preparing to propose a study regarding the establishment of a cooperative African reinsurance framework aimed at spreading risks associated with cross-border trade and transportation across African markets. The initiative seeks to strengthen the capacity of insurance companies across the continent to absorb major losses, thereby supporting the growth of intra-African trade and reducing reliance on international reinsurance markets.
