Net profits of insurance and Takaful companies listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange rose by 5% during the first half of 2026, reaching approximately OMR 20.9 million—up from OMR 19.9 million during the same period last year—despite pressures stemming from rising claims, particularly in property and motor insurance.
