The Allianz Global Insurance Report for 2026 revealed that the global insurance industry continued its upward trajectory during 2025, with total global insurance premiums estimated to have increased by 7.1% to reach 6.9 trillion euros, adding about 456 billion euros to the total global premium portfolio. This is despite a slowdown in growth compared to the exceptional rate of 9.4% recorded in 2024.
