The Insurers Federation of Egypt affirmed that insurance is fundamentally based on a contract aimed at transferring the burden of risks from the individual to the insurance company in exchange for a premium. They pointed out that determining the extent of these risks and the fair premium primarily depends on actuarial valuation as a scientific approach based on probability calculation and data analysis.
