In Egypt, the total premiums collected by insurance companies reached around 70 billion EGP, compared to 56.2 billion EGP in 2021/2022, a growth of 24.7%. As well, claims paid amounted to 33.6 billion EGP, compared to 27.3 billion EGP, an increase of 23%, according to Dr Mohamed Farid.
